An open index of licensed senior living
Every licensed community, from the public record. No commissions, no gates.
Senior Living Index lists residential senior living communities — assisted living, personal care and memory care — straight from state licensing records. Every listing appears because it is licensed, not because it paid. Every fact names its government source and the date we retrieved it.
In the index today
- 1,846 licensed communities
- 285 Georgia cities & towns
- 1 state so far — more in progress
Browse Georgia — 1,523 personal care homes and 323 assisted living communities, from the Georgia Department of Community Health, Healthcare Facility Regulation Division roster retrieved July 7, 2026.
How this site is different
- Complete by construction. We start from the state's own license roster, so every licensed community is here — including the ones that never advertise.
- No referral economics. We accept no per-lead or per-move-in fees and never pass your identity to a facility. Payment never affects rank or inclusion, and that policy is printed on every page of this site.
- Provenance on everything. Each data field carries the agency it came from and the date we retrieved it, with a link to the source data.
- Open to people and machines. Every page is plain, fast, accessible HTML, and the full dataset is available as open JSON for researchers, journalists, and AI assistants.
What's next
Georgia is the first state. State licensing rosters are added one at a time, each validated before it ships; inspection and survey histories are on the roadmap. See about & methodology for how the index is built and what it deliberately leaves out.
